Overview
In 2023, the Sui blockchain started getting traction and promised high performance and scalability, made possible by its unique architecture that supports parallel transaction execution, which got us interested. When we learned about the announced Testnet, we wanted to participate and build one of the first decentralized exchanges on the blockchain. We managed to get a working prototype running in public, where people on the Testnet would actively participate in by providing liquidity to the pools or swapping their test-tokens, which was really cool and something we could be proud of.
At some point though, we figured that unfortunately there were far bigger players than us building similar apps and we would leave it at what it is - an exciting side project and a great learning experience.
